2009 Presidential Inauguration

Information for the Presidential Inauguration

Please read the information here carefully and completely and follow the steps below to ensure that your visit to the Inaugural ceremonies goes smoothly.

Due to an overwhelming volume of requests, Congressman Klein’s waiting list for Inaugural tickets is currently closed. However, there are public areas available for viewing both the swearing-in ceremony and the Inaugural parade. More information can be found by clicking here. If you make plans to travel to Washington, D.C. for the Inauguration, please expect large crowds and tight security.

Please be aware that no website or other ticket outlet has Inaugural swearing-in tickets to sell, regardless of what they may claim. Congressional offices are the only entities authorized to distribute Inaugural tickets, and offers of tickets from other sources are likely to be fraudulent.
