Arlington National Cemetery - Open to the public at 8 a.m. 365 days a year. From April 1 to Sept. 30 the cemetery closes at 7 p.m. From October through March, it closes at 5 p.m. Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier occurs every hour on the hour during all months except summer, when it occurs every half hour. Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial - A sprawling tribute to the nation's (south of National Mall, on Western Edge of D.C. near Tidal Basin). Link
Holocaust Memorial Museum - (south of National Mall near Washington Monument).
Jefferson Memorial - (on western edge of D.C. on Tidal Basin)
Korean War Memorial - (on south side of National Mall at western edge of D.C., near Lincoln Memorial).
Lincoln Memorial - (on National Mall at western edge of D.C.).
Mount Vernon - (in South Alexandria, Virginia).
National Archives - (on north side National Mall, between Washington Monument and Capitol).
National Gallery of Art - (on north side of National Mall near Capitol).
Smithsonian Air & Space Museum - (on south side National Mall near Capitol).
Supreme Court - (on Capitol Hill).
Vietnam Veterans Memorial - (on south side of National Mall near Lincoln Memorial).
Washington Monument - (on National Mall halfway between Capitol and Lincoln Memorial, across from the White House).
World War II Memorial - (on National Mall between Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial).
