(9/25/06) Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) announced that 20 conservative organizations sent this joint letter to Members of Congress, urging strong support for the Pence-Cantor bill (H.R. 6057), which would end the capital gains tax on inflation.

Louie Gohmert (R-TX) introduced the Zero Baseline Budget Act (H.R. 5470), which would instruct the Congressional Budget Office to calculate the budget baseline in a way that eliminates all automatic increases and excludes emergency and supplemental spending.  Click here for more details.

(6/12/06) Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC) introduced the Social Security Number Fraudulent Use Notification Act (H.R. 5409), which would require the Social Security Administration to promptly notify individuals whose numbers have been used illegally.  Learn more here.
