Dear Colleague:  regarding an effort last week to oppose the Advancing Justice Through DNA Technology Act (H.R. 3214) because of concerns that flaws in the bill would allow convicted felons the opportunity to overturn their sentences based on a low standard of evidence.  The House passed H.R. 3214 by a vote of 357-67.  The bill now goes to the Senate for consideration.     Sent by Rep.
