Sponsored Legislation

During each session of Congress, Congressman Tierney has the opportunity to “sponsor” legislation. This means the Congressman is the author and main proponent of a measure or an amendment. Congressman Tierney also shares the opportunity to “co-sponsor” legislation, which signifies that he is joining one or more other members to introduce a measure and is one of the main supporters of the effort.

For more information on legislation from previous Congresses or to see how Congressman Tierney voted on legislation, please see THOMAS, a website of the Library of Congress which also provides a full list of legislation currently pending before Congress. A customized search option is also available for you in the left side bar of my site, on this page.
