Committee assignments are very important because most of the work done in Congress is done in its various committees and subcommittee. Rep. Eshoo serves on two key committees that reflect her interests and the interests of her constituents in California's 14th Congressional District.

Rep. Eshoo serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and is a member of two of its subcommittees: the Subcommittee on Health and the Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet.

Rep. Eshoo also serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and chairs the Subcommittee on Intelligence Community Management.
