Washington, D.C., Dec 9 - Today, Congressman Dave Loebsack recorded a message to commend and thank the men and women serving in our Armed Services, many of who are separated from their family and friends during this holiday season.  

Below is the text of Congressman Loebsack’s holiday message to the troops:

“Hello, this is Dave Loebsack from Iowa’s Second District wishing you a happy holiday season and a joyous New Year.  

“You are in the prayers and thoughts of the people of Iowa.  On their behalf, let me say thank you, and extend our deepest gratitude to you and your families for your commitment and service to our nation.  

“May you all return home safely to your friends, family and loved ones.”
