Regula Announces Constituent Services for the Conclusion of the 110th Congress

As we approach the conclusion of the 110th Congress and my retirement from the U.S. House of Representatives, I would like to share some important dates regarding my assistance to constituents.

  • Case Work – If my office has a pending issue with a federal government agency on your behalf, please contact my Canton office at 330-489-4415 or 1-800-826-9015.  I will be happy to share the transition process with you.

  • Flag Requests – If you would like to order a flag to be flown over the U.S. Capitol, please make your request to me by November 15 so that I may complete your request.

  • Capitol Tours – Because I am required to vacate my House office space by early December to allow for the transfer of offices to the incoming Members of the 111th Congress, I will only be able to accommodate personal tours of the Capitol from my office through Friday, November 21.

I am pleased to report that the Capitol Visitor Center is scheduled to open to the public beginning December 2, 2008.  This new center, located below the East Capitol grounds, will provide visitors to the Capitol with a variety of amenities, including an exhibition gallery, orientation theaters, a 550-seat cafeteria, gift shops and restrooms.  For more information on this facility, please visit http://www.aoc.gov/cvc/index.cfm.

Feel free to contact my office at 330-489-4414 or 202-225-3876 if I may be of service to you with any other matters as the 110th Congress concludes.
