Casework Services

Providing good constituency services is, and always has been, a priority for me and my staff.  A large part of constituency services is acting as a liaison between a constituent and a federal agency when he or she is having problems getting answers to questions.  Although I am unable to ensure a particular outcome, it is my pleasure to work with you and the federal agency to resolve problems.  The following are some questions to review when you are considering contacting my office about casework.

Am I a constituent?
Ethical rules and congressional courtesy dictate that each Member of Congress has the privilege and duty to serve his or her own constituents.  To find out who your representative is, please visit http://www.fyi.legis.state.tx.us.  Please consider the address of the individual in need of assistance.

Does my problem involve a federal agency?
My position as a Federal Representative gives me the ability to act as a liaison between constituents and federal agencies.  If you don’t know if your problem involves a federal agency, or if you don’t know who in state or local government to contact about your problem, please call one of my district offices and we will be happy to help you.
