    62 years after he enlisted in the Army, Reverend Leonard Clark was presented with two medals for his service in Pacific Theater between 1946 and 1949. Unlike other soldiers, Clark was never decorated for his service in the Pacific Theater, but he never complained. It was only when Clark was asked to share his story as part of the Library of Congress veterans' history project that someone noticed the missing medals. "(Congressman Lampson) asked me if I'd forgotten my medals," Clark recalled. "I told them I never got them. He'd said he'd see about getting them for me."
