Academy Nominations

Thank you for your interest in attending one of the nation's military academies. Click on the link below for an academy nomination application form. This form needs to be completed and returned with a photograph and supporting materials no later than November 1st. There is also a link to a checklist to help candidates organize the materials they will need to submit.
Each candidate will meet with my Academy Selection Committee members on a Saturday in November for a personal interview. Information on the time, date, and location of the interview will be provided after the November 1 deadline.
The method for selecting nominees we use is competitive. With this method, I can submit up to ten nominees for each vacancy. The candidates are then ranked in order of merit by the admissions offices, in accordance with the specific academy system. The most highly qualifed is selected for an offer of admission (an appointment) to fill the vacancy.
