Science and Math Education Packets

As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science, and Chairman of the Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee, I am committed to doing all I can to support educators in inspiring today’s students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.  As we become a world without economic borders, it is increasingly important that our nation’s young people be able to compete in the global marketplace.   Educators are the most crucial link in this important work.    It is my hope that the information provided below will provide useful tools to assist you in your efforts.

Below you will find information from various federal web resources to provide a sample of the many education programs from seven federal agencies.  the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Department of Energy (DOE), the United States Geological Survey (USGS), and the National Science Foundation (NSF).  A booklet has also been compiled that includes math and science related lesson plans from several of these agencies.

Thank you for all that you do for our Colorado children.  If you have questions or comments about this information, please do not hesitate to contact Heather Fox in my Colorado office at 303-650-7820.
