Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Jerry McNerney (CA-11) announced he will hold Congress at Your Corner on Saturday, December 13, at 1 p.m. at Java Aroma on Grand Canal Blvd. in Stockton.
Congress at Your Corner is part of a continuing constituent outreach effort, designed to allow residents to meet and discuss issues with Rep. McNerney in the places where they already shop, eat and recreate.
“I always want to be available so my constituents can come and share their questions or concerns,” Rep. McNerney said. “And during this busy time of year, with all of the Holiday festivities, I want to make it as easy as possible for people to talk to me.”
This will be Rep. McNerney’s 47th Congress at Your Corner event and the sixth to be held in Stockton. Rep. McNerney frequently holds Congress at Your Corner at community hot spots like coffee shops, supermarkets, and local businesses. At these events, Rep. McNerney and his staff are on hand to discuss issues on residents’ minds, listen to their opinions, and assist them in finding solutions to any difficulties they may encounter in dealing with federal agencies.
