“These students are some of the finest individuals
Colorado has to offer. I am very impressed with their academic, athletic, and extracurricular accomplishments. These talented young men and women are the future of our country. It is a privilege and an honor to recommend them to our nation’s prestigious service academies,” stated Perlmutter.
Each service academy (Air Force, Navy, West Point and Merchant Marine) will select one of Congressman Perlmutter’s nominations for the Fall 2009 Semester. There are other criteria that the academies utilize such as athletic scholarships, if their parents were Medal of Honor recipients or if their parents were 100% disabled in their military service.
