White House

A self guided tour of the East Wing and ceremonial floors of the White House. Allow 30 to 45 minutes for this tour.

We must receive this request at least 2 months, but no more than 6 months in advance. Tours are conducted Tuesday - Saturday 7:30am-12:30pm.

You will be contacted by a member of my staff to provide them with the name, date of birth and social security number of each person in your party. This information is required of all individuals entering the White House. To expedite your tour request, please have this available to you at the time you make your request.

U.S. Capitol

Constituent tours of the Capitol are offered by a member of my staff Monday - Friday, departing from my office. Gallery Passes for the House Gallery will be provided on this tour if the House is in session. Allow 1 hour to an hour and a half for the tour plus time to pass through security.

Tours for large groups may be arranged by my office through the Capitol Guide Service and depart Monday – Saturday from the South Visitor’s Kiosk beginning at 8 am and departing throughout the day.

Library of Congress

The tour includes a guided viewing of the art and architecture of the Library of Congress. Tours by trained Library of Congress staff are offered Monday-Friday. Please allow at least 1 hour for this tour.

Kennedy Center

A guided tour of the main performance spaces at the Kennedy Center. Tours are offered Monday through Saturday. Please allow at least 1 hour for this tour.

Supreme Court

This is a lecture in the court room highlighting the history of the Court and the art and architecture of the court room and building.

Lectures are only offered at 2:30 on days when the Court is not hearing oral arguments. Please allow at least 1 hour for the lecture.

State Department

A tour of the Diplomatic Reception Rooms of the Department of State, which hold a premier collection of 18th Century American furniture, paintings and decorative arts.

This is a fine arts tour and is not recommend for children under the age of twelve. Wheelchairs are available but strollers are not permitted.

This tour is conducted Monday through Friday. Please allow up to 1 hour for this tour.

This information is required of all individuals entering the White House. To expedite your tour request, please have this available to you at the time you make your request..

Bureau of Engraving and Printing

A guided tour of the facility where U.S. paper currency is printed. This tour is a favorite of children.

Available Monday through Friday. Please allow at least 1 hour for this tour.

National Archives

This tour allows visitors to bypass the public entry line. It includes a guided tour of the collections of the National Archives and a stop at the Rotunda, which houses the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights and other important historical documents.

Tours are offered Monday through Friday. Please allow at least 1 hour for this tour.

Mt. Vernon

A guided tour of the Mount Vernon grounds and outbuildings. Visitors may visit the main house and visitors center after the tour has concluded.

Congressional Tours are given at 8:45a.m. everyday (April-October). Constituents must purchase admission tickets prior to going on the tour. Please allow 2 to 3 hours plus travel time for this tour.
