Thursday, September 25, 2008

Washington, DC -- Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) held conference calls today with representatives from banks and credit unions throughout the Fifth District to discuss the current situation surrounding the United States financial markets.  Congressman Latta made the following statement after the calls:

“I organized today’s discussions in order to hear directly from the financial institutions in my district to find out exactly how financial market correction legislation would affect them and residents of the Fifth District.  It is important for me to hear from all interested parties as we continue to review the details of this important legislation so that I can make the best possible decision on behalf of my constituents.”
