Snowe Congratulates Sanford High School Band on Inauguration Honor

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Olympia J. Snowe (R-Maine) today made the following statement regarding the selection of the Sanford High School Band by the Presidential Inauguration Committee to perform in the Presidential Inauguration parade on January 20, 2009.
"I’m proud to see Maine represented by the fine young men and women of the Sanford High School Band at the 56th Presidential Inauguration in Washington," Senator Snowe said. "It will be a momentous day in American history and will surely be remembered and commemorated for years to come. I’m so pleased that the Sanford High School Band will be a part of this experience and I look forward to seeing them perform in January."
