A Note From Zoe

Tickets to the Presidential swearing-in ceremony on January 20, 2009

Thank you to all who contacted me requesting tickets to the Inauguration for President-elect Obama on January 20, 2009. Unfortunately, due to an overwhelming demand for tickets, my office is no longer accepting requests for tickets to the Inaugural ceremony. As of November 14th my office has fielded requests for nearly 1,300 tickets yet it’s anticipated that Members of Congress will be allotted less than 200 tickets total to distribute to constituents. I hope, and will urge, that the officials tasked with organizing this Inauguration ceremony continue to consider ways to accommodate as many people as possible to attend and enjoy this historical occasion.

Sincerely,

Zoe
