Military Academy Appointments

Each year, Congressman Nadler nominates outstanding high school seniors in the 8th Congressional District for the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

The selection process is very competitive and is based on scholastic achievement, community service, and leadership potential.

Nominations are open to residents of the 8th Congressional District who are between the ages of 17 and 22 before July 1 of the year of admission.
