Dealing with the federal bureaucracy can be frustrating at times and my office is available to help you through the process when needed. We can help if you are having problems associated with programs administered by federal agencies, such as the Social Security Administration, the Veterans Administration, and the Internal Revenue Service. Although we do not have the authority to circumvent the policies and regulations governing these agencies, we will do our best to see that you receive a fair hearing and timely consideration on your case.
If you are experiencing a problem with a federal agency and feel that we can assist, please contact one of our district offices. A written explanation of your problem, along with a signed privacy release form, will help us to expedite your request. Due to the provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974, federal agencies will require that we provide them with this form before they can release information to us regarding your case. You should also include any other documents or correspondence that you think may be helpful to my office in pursuing your case. We will contact you after receiving your letter, so please be sure to include your return address and a daytime telephone number.
