The Meaning of Thanksgiving -
Since time immemorial, the indigenous people of this land have been giving
thanks for their blessings in a variety of ways. Even during the hardest of
times and under the most troubling of conditions, Native people have never
stopped offering gratitude. Today, on this day set aside to appreciate what we
have to be thankful for in this country, we consider what it is to be truly
thankful.
