WASHINGTON, D.C. –Congresswoman Lois Capps released the following statement today after it was announced that Proposition 218 was passed by Los Osos voters:

“The Los Osos community has spoken in favor of moving forward on a proposal to build a wastewater treatment facility.  The next step is for the community to come together on a design plan and location for this facility.  Once the local community has come to a consensus, I look forward to working with local, county, and state officials to seek federal support for this project.”
