	Speaker Pelosi Appoints Rep. Scott to Ethics Committee
	WASHINGTON, DC - Representative Robert C. “Bobby” Scott (D-VA-3) has been appointed by Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi to the House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct, commonly referred to as the House Ethics Committee, for the remainder of the 110^th Congress. The vacancy to which Representative Scott was appointed was a result of the untimely death of Representative Stephanie Tubbs Jones of Ohio. “I am honored by the Speaker’s appointment to the Ethics Committee for the remainder of the term,” said Rep. Scott. “As a member of the Committee, I will do my best to uphold the integrity of the U.S. House of Representatives.” (####)
