Whether by bill number, bill title, or keyword, the Library of Congress' Thomas website is a great resource for looking up legislative information.  The Thomas search engine is also available on the menu bar to your right, under Search for a Bill.

 

How can I arrange a tour of the U.S. Capitol Building or the White House?

How do I purchase a U.S. Flag to be flown over the Capitol Building? 
Constituents of Virginia's Third Congressional District may purchase U.S. flags through Rep. Scott's office.  They can also have them flown over the U.S. Capitol Building in honor of certain events or occasions.  For more information or to purchase a flag, please click here.

 

What should I do if I need assistance with a federal agency?
If you are experiencing difficulties with a Federal Government agency and you would like assistance from my office, please contact my Newport News District Office at (757) 380-1000.  A Caseworker will be assigned to you and allow your process to be handled effectively.  You will also be asked to complete a Constituent Consent and Information Form and fax or mail it to my Newport News Office:

What is a Congressional Page, and how can I become one?
Pages are high school juniors with a cumulative grade point average of "B" or better who are hired by the House of Representatives to live, work, and study in Washington, D.C.  Nominated by their Member of Congress, they can serve as support staff for the U.S. House of Representatives, either for a full school year, or for one of two summer sessions.  For more information on the Page Program and how to apply, please Click Here.

For any non-federal legislative issue pending before the Virginia General Assembly, it is best to contact your Delegate in the Virginia House of  Delegates or your Senator in the Senate of Virginia.  Follow this link to determine who are your representatives in the Virginia General Assembly.

 

How do I contact my U.S. Senators? 
Every state has two U.S. Senators elected to six year terms.  Virginia's U.S. Senators are:  The Honorable John Warner and The Honorable James Webb.  Senator Warner and Senator Webb have websites set up to serve all Virginians.  Please click their name to access either Senator's website.
