Nadler Announces $2.29 Million for |

New York -- Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) is pleased to announce that several programs benefiting the Jewish community in New York City received funding in the FY2005 Omnibus Appropriations bill. The funding, which Rep. Nadler helped secure, will go toward community building activities. "It is a pleasure to announce that the House and Senate have recognized the very significant role these Jewish organizations have in our community," said Nadler. "Their service to our neighborhoods is invaluable and this funding will go a long way toward helping people in need." The following programs in Nadler's Congressional District received funding in the Omnibus FY2005 Appropriations bill:
