My office provides a wide variety of services to constituents of the 12th District. Services range from helping to resolve a problem with a federal agency to arranging a tour of the Capitol while you are visiting Washington D.C. Below you will find a list of these services, along with some useful links to federal and state government agencies.

• Assistance with Federal Agencies
  Sometimes it can be difficult to navigate the maze of the federal government. My office can serve as a liasion between you and a federal agency. Visit my Assistance with Federal Agencies which outlines the process of how to go about getting assistance from my office.
• Federal Governement Links
  As you know, the federal government can be confusing to navigate. I have compiled a list of useful links that can help you locate the assistance you need, and links to educational and informational government sites as well.
• Flags and Special Greetings
  My office can arrange the purchase of a United States flag and can also arrange to have the flag flown over the Capitol Building. With regards to special greetings, my office can assist with obtaining Presidential greetings for special occasions such as wedding anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, bar/bat mitzvahs, etc.
• Federal Grants and Other Assistance
  The federal government offers federal grants and assistance programs in a wide range of areas. • Internships
  Working in a Congressional office in either Washington D.C. or in the district can be an incredibly rewarding and exciting experience. An internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience, and observe first-hand how our government operates.
• Congressional Page Program
  The congressional page program provides high school students with the opportunity to serve the U.S. House of Representatives and expand their knowledge of the legislative process.
• Service Academy Nominations
  To be considered for an appointment to one of the United States Service Academies, an applicant must receive a nomination from an authorized nominating source. As a Member of Congress, it has always been my distinct pleasure to nominate students from the 12th Congressional District to the Academies.
• State Government Links
  Sometimes it can be confusing figuring out whether an issue you are dealing with fall under the jurisdiction of federal or state government. Since I do have jurisdiction over any state government issues, I have compiled a list of the most frequently sought State of Michigan government websites that can help you locate the assistance you need.
• Financial Aid for Students
  Higher education plays such a vital role in guiding the future leaders of our country. I have put together a resource that will help to guide students through the process of locating and applying for financial aid.
• Visiting DC
  If you plan to visit our nation's capital, my office can provide you with information on tours, brochures, maps, and can book tours for you as well. Please contact my district office as soon as you know your travel plans.
