(March 20, 2008)  Downtown, Los Angeles, CA – Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) congratulates 7-Eleven franchisee Matt Mattu and his family on the opening of their store – the first 7-Eleven convenience store in Downtown.  The store is located at the corner of 7th and Olive streets in the Mandel Lofts and Apartments building owned by George Peykar.  At  the ceremony, the congresswoman said, “The opening of this store is yet another example of the economic development and the revitalization that is happening here in Downtown.”
