Inslee calls on Interior to allow open dialogue on global warming

In response to reports that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is prohibiting its arctic scientists from discussing global warming and impacts on polar bears, U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee called on the Bush Administration to implement a policy of open dialogue and requested a briefing on specifics of rules implemented or briefings given to U.S. officials regarding their discussions on climate change, polar bears and sea ice.
