FOREST PARK - Just days before their trip to China, the Winton Woods Varsity Ensemble continues to get good news.
On March 18, three days before the choir makes their way to Beijing, U.S. Rep. Steve Chabot (R-1st district) visited the school to congratulate the choir for all its hard work. He also presented the choir, along with choir directors Dave Bell and Ben Spalding, a proclamation detailing their accomplishment, a flag that was flown over the nation's capitol and read the speech he delivered on the floor of the House of Representatives.
"I was just so pleased and so proud of what you all accomplished," Chabot said.
