Interns in Congressman Chabot's Washington, D.C. office have the 
opportunity to assist the Congressman and staff with research, attend hearings and committee meetings, assist the staff with daily clerical duties, and provide visiting constituents with information about the Washington area.
Internships are voluntary and purely educational. The student must be in a study program, and should therefore receive credits for his/her tenure, or have personal educational goals which he/she is seeking to satisfy in a congressional office. Stipends are not provided.
Candidates for an internship position should display strong work ethic,
excellent writing ability, attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
Length of internships will vary, however, they will not exceed 120 days.
Interns are accepted continuously throughout the year.
