On February 17, 2009, television stations, which currently broadcast in analog and digital format, will transmit only digital signals.

Consumers with a digital television will continue to enjoy their programming after February 17, 2009.  However, those with analog televisions will need a digital-to-analog converter box to continue to watch broadcast television from that date forward.
