Internship Opportunity

The office of Representative Bart Stupak, a Democrat representing the First Congressional District of Michigan, is seeking interns. We are looking for individuals who are energetic and enthusiastic about learning the operations of a fast-paced Congressional office. Preference will be given to Michigan residents, but all interested parties are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have good writing and communication skills.

Daily duties for an intern include a range of tasks, such as:

Interns will be provided with a well-rounded exposure to congressional office operations and the legislative process. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn valuable Capitol Hill experience.

Internships can be either full or part-time, and are unpaid positions. Interning on the Hill is easy--our building is close to Metro and academic credit is available.
