Mission Statement

The Law Enforcement Caucus is a bi-partisan working group of Members of Congress who seek an open forum to address issues affecting the law enforcement community. The organization was created in 1994 to serve as a clearinghouse for information and grants and a sounding board for ideas brought forth by the law enforcement community. The LEC currently has over 100 members and is led by Representative Jim Ramstad(R-MN) and Representative Bart Stupak(D-MI).
