Committee Assignments

Congresswoman Moore serves on the House Committee on Financial Services. This committee has jurisdiction over the entire financial services industry, including the securities, insurance, banking, and housing industries. The Committee also oversees the work of the Federal Reserve, the Treasury, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other financial services regulators.

Congresswoman Moore serves on three subcommittees of the House Committee on Financial Services:

  • Domestic & International Monetary Policy - which has jurisdiction over monetary policy and economic stabilization as well as on international finance, banking, and monetary organizations, including the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

Congresswoman Moore also serves on the House Committee on Small Business. This Committee has jurisdiction over the Small Business Administration and general oversight over all matters pertaining to small businesses.

Congresswoman Moore serves on two subcommittees of House Committee on Small Business:

  • Workforce, Empowerment, and Government Programs - which has oversight and investigative authority over problems faced by small businesses in attracting and retaining a high quality workforce, such as wages and health care benefits. In addition, this Subcommittee also has jurisdiction over opportunities for minority, women, veteran, and disabled-owned small businesses, and has oversight and investigative authority over regulations and other government policies that impact small businesses located in economically depressed areas.
  • Regulatory Reform and Oversight - which has oversight and investigative authority over the regulatory and paperwork policies of all federal department and agencies, and oversight and investigative authority over general issues and concerns facing small businesses.
