Help with a Federal Agency

Dear Friend:

My top priority as a Member of Congress has always been to serve the needs of my constituents. Over the past 14 years, constituents have contacted my office seeking assistance with various federal agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Social Security Administration as well as many other federal agencies.

In January, I announced that this would be my last session in Congress. Since that time, my staff has been working hard to manage the transition of my office. As you may know, the Congressional Inquiry process at the federal level can be lengthy. Therefore, effective September 8, 2008, I will no longer be able to accept new cases.

Please contact either U.S. Senator Jim Bunning or U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell for further assistance. I know they will take the appropriate steps to address your questions and concerns.
