Inauguration Tickets and Information

In order to best serve you, if you are a resident of the 7th congressional district of Washington State, please submit your request for tickets to the 2009 Inaugural Swearing-in Ceremony to WA07InaugurationTickets@mail.house.gov . Please include the following information in your email. Please note that I will be unable to process your request without this information:

1) Full name of each person for whom you are requesting a ticket.
2) Address, phone number and email address and name of contact person.

We have been advised that an extremely limited number of tickets will be available through each congressional office. Requests will exceed the number of tickets that will be available to distribute, but all efforts will be made to accommodate as many constituents as possible. All tickets are outside, standing-room only; the weather in January in Washington, D.C. is typically quite cold.

Tickets cannot be mailed; they will have to be picked up in person between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m on January 19, 2009, in the Washington, D.C. congressional office, 1035 Longworth House Office Building.

The following website can provide more information on the Presidential Inauguration at http://www.inaugural.senate.gov .

Thank you for your interest in coming to DC to share in this momentous occasion.
