The US Capitol Tour Public Tours Public tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at the east front of the Capitol. Gallery Passes Passes to visit the House and Senate Chambers are always available from the Washington office.  No advance notice is required.

Guided Tours
A personal tour from a member of the staff is available for groups of less than 12 people.  Tours leave from the Washington office and are subject to availability.  Please request tours 2-3 weeks in advance.  Click here to request a personal tour or contact the Washington, D.C. office.

Group Tours
For large groups (larger than 12 people) the office can request a guided tour from the U.S. Capitol Guide Service.  Please request these tours 1-2 months in advance.  Please contact the Washington, D.C. office to request a group tour.
