FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, Thursday, September 18, 2008 STARK TO HOLD TOWN MEETINGS IN UNION CITY, SAN LEANDRO, AND ALAMEDA ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th, 2008 WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Representative Pete Stark (D-CA) will meet with residents of the 13th Congressional District on Saturday, September 20th in Union City, San Leandro and Alameda. The three meetings will enable constituents to ask questions about important national issues. Likely topics include the steep downturn in the economy; House passage of comprehensive energy legislation; and what Congress plans to accomplish in the rest of this session.
