STARK TO HOLD TOWN MEETINGS IN NEWARK AND ALAMEDA ON SATURDAY, MAY 3, 2008
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. Representative Pete Stark (D-CA) will meet with residents of the 13th Congressional District on Saturday, May 3rd in Newark and Alameda.
The two meetings will allow constituents to ask questions about important national issues. Given recent news, likely topics will include funding for the Iraq War, the looming economic recession, Farm Bill reauthorization and its implications for food and energy prices, and the legislative calendar for the rest of the year.
