STARK TO HOLD TOWN MEETINGS IN UNION CITY, HAYWARD AND ALAMEDA

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. Representative Pete Stark (D-CA) will meet with residents of the 13th Congressional District on Saturday, July 14th in Union City, Hayward and Alameda.

Three town meetings will allow constituents to ask questions about important national issues. Given recent news, likely topics include House action on legislation calling for the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq by April 1, 2008, new hope for universal health care, and upcoming bills on children’s health care, Medicare and energy.
