Visit Washington, DC

Congressional tours may be set up through my Washington, DC office. Due to congressional courtesy, I can only provide these services to people who reside in California's 13th Congressional District. Security concerns raised by the events of September 11th have placed restrictions on some federal buildings such as the White House and State Department. However, public tours of many wonderful and historic points of interest remain available.

You may avoid waiting in public tour lines for select buildings by submitting the following tour request form. For more information on these sites, please visit the links in the form below. If you are planning your visit to Washington during peak tourist season (late February to early September) I strongly recommend that you request a tour at least two months in advance. Tour spaces are limited and are provided on a first come-first served basis.

*Indicates extremely limited availability
Both the Whitehouse and the State Department have crowded tour schedules. It is EXTREMELY UNLIKEY that you will get a Whitehouse tour. The waiting list is more than six months long, and the tickets are assigned via a lottery system. Even with all your information and a long lead-time, very few tickets are awarded to the House of Representatives. If you would like to try, we are happy to submit your name to the lottery, but we would recommend other tours instead.
