Digital Television Transition- February 2009
By law, television stations must end their analog broadcasts and
begin broadcasting exclusively in a digital format after February 17,
2009. Digital television (DTV) is a technology that is more flexible
and efficient than analog television and allows higher-quality images,
sound, and more programming choices.
While there are many benefits to DTV, millions of households that
receive broadcast TV through antennas risk losing reception unless
they upgrade and take steps to receive a digital signal. Please click

information on the switch.
