Since I was elected to Congress, it has been my privilege to host several events. Some of them have been once-in-a-lifetime experiences and others went so well we have made them annual occurrences. Below are some of the highlights from the past few years.

Tennessee's Natural Treasures

Congressman Wamp ensured that there was funding in the 2003 Interior Appropriations Bill to assist in the completion of the new state of the art Spring Creek Shooting Range that can be used by the public as well as government agencies.

Tech Summit 2005

Congressman Wamp hosted and opened the tenth Tennessee Valley Corridor national technology Summit in the nation’s capital featuring America’s top Homeland Security and Energy leaders as keynote speakers.

A New Lock

Replacement of the Chickamauga Lock on the Tennessee River commenced as the first drill penetrated the soil in an elaborate ceremony today in the presence of elected and appointed officials who have been instrumental to progress along the way.
