Flags Flown Over the U.S. Capitol

The link below will provide you with the required paperwork for requesting a United States flag through my Washington, D.C. office.

There is no limit on the number of flags you may order, and you can choose from among several sizes and either cotton or nylon fabric. Nylon flags work especially well for outdoor use.

To make the flag even more special, you may specify a particular date on which you would like the flag to fly over the Capitol Building. You can also name a person or organization in whose honor the flag will fly in addition to choosing to commemorate a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion.

All flags are sold at cost and requests must be sent by mail with a check. Credit cards are not accepted. Please use the link below to access the Flag Request/Purchase Form. Print the form, fill it out, and mail it with a check to:

Please allow 4-6 weeks for these requests to reach our office, due to security requirements placed on all incoming mail. Orders can be expedited by faxing a copy of the order form and check before mailing them to:

Requesting a Presidential Greeting Card

The White House offers to produce greeting cards for extra special occasions and events. Some examples of these special events include birthdays, wedding anniversaries, get well wishes, retirement, or Eagle Scout award.
