U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee, and the Small Business Administration (SBA) presented the “Administrators Award for Excellence” to the Aculight Corporation, of Bothell, Washington. This award is the result of a national competition by the SBA to recognize the outstanding Prime Contracting Company of the Year. This year, the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base nominated Aculight for the award. Aculight, which employs 45 people and was founded in 1993, develops laser technologies for medical, industrial, and national defense applications.
