Washington, DC Tour Requests


Jefferson Memorial PhotoOur nation's capital is one of the most interesting and exciting cities in the world, filled with first-class museums, monuments and landmarks. Residents of Illinois' 8th Congressional District planning a trip to Washington, DC can contact Congresswoman Bean's Washington office to arrange for Congressional tours throughout the capital city.

Congresswoman Bean's office can assist you in making advanced reservations for The Capitol, the Library of Congress, the National Archives, the Supreme Court, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and The White House. Tours are subject to restrictions, including availability, group size, and security threats. Please submit your Washington Tour Request Form and we will inform you of current tour availabilities. You will receive a confirmation call that your request has been received and is being processed. If you do not receive a notification of receipt, please contact Congresswoman Bean's Washington office at 202-225-3711.

All tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are a limited number of spaces available. Therefore if you wish to obtain tickets, please submit your requests as far in advance as possible.

You can also reserve a tour of the Capitol directly through the newly constructed U.S. Capitol Visitor Center.

Jefferson Memorial PhotoAlso, when you are in Washington, DC, Congresswoman Bean encourages you to stop by her office which is located at 318 Cannon House Office Building across from the United States Capitol. The staff can provide you with visitors' passes to the gallery of the House of Representatives, as well as other useful information about Washington attractions. If you cannot make it to Washington, we encourage you to take a virtual tour of the Capitol.

* To submit a request for a White House tour, you must include the full names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers of all members of your tour party.
