Visit Washington

Arkansans can receive help from Congressman Snyder's Washington, D.C. office in planning their trip to the nation's capital. The congressman receives only a limited supply of tour tickets for each week, so you should call well in advance of your trip to ensure ticket availability.

Tours for which Congressman Snyder can help get tickets are the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, National Archives, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington National Cathedral, Library of Congress, and the White House.

Please note that numbers of White House tours are limited, and not available on Sunday or Monday. Additionally, per White House regulations, tours are only given to groups of 10 or more. If your group is under 10 people, it may be possible for us to pair you with another group. Please call to make arrangements well in advance for this option.

Decisions are made one month in advance and White House tours are subject to availability. Only 1,350 people may visit per day for the entire country! If you are calling with less than one month prior to your arrival, we require two weeks notice.

We are unable to schedule a tour if you call less than a week before arrival since that is the deadline to turn in security information for background check (i.e., name, Date of Birth, Social Security Number).

If your calling about other tours, please call Valerie McNeese at 202-225-2506 for details or via fax at 202-225-5903.  Do not send requests via e-mail or an online form.

Congressman Snyder's office also can get passes for the U.S. House of Representatives Gallery and arrange for guided tours of the U.S. Capitol.

Since members of the tour will meet in the Congressman's office, tickets can be picked up there (D.C. office, 1330 Longworth House Office Building, Washington, D.C. 20515). For help, call Valerie McNeese at 202-225-2506.
