Veteran's Day at the National Cemetery of the Pacific

Congressman Abercrombie, chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Air and Land Forces, was among the dignitaries attending a poignant Veteran's Day ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl in Hawaii.

Abercrombie says Veteran's Day honors the service and sacrifice of "all men and women who have served our nation in uniform." He also says it's a time to remember our nation's obligation to those men and women and the need to work every day for their cause.

"As long as the country continues to send young American men and women off to war, our obligation to them will continue and grow," says Abercormbie. "As the voice for more than 117,000 veterans in Hawaii, I'll continue working to meet that obligation...On November 11th, we celebrate Veteran's Day. But for many of us, every day is Veteran's Day."
