Washington, D.C. is enriched with the treasures of our American heritage, offering a host of historical, cultural, and diverse sightseeing opportunities. My staff and I are delighted when fellow South Carolinians come to town, and we are ready to help make your stay as pleasant as possible.

I hope you will find the information in this section to be helpful in planning your visit to our nation's capital. We can mail a packet of information with maps and brochures to you to assist in planning your trip.

During your stay in Washington, I hope you will have the opportunity to drop by my office for information on area sites, pick up a gallery pass, or simply say hello. We are located in Room 1401 on the fourth floor of the Longworth House Office Building, on Independence Avenue across from the Capitol.

Congressional Reserved Tours

With enough advance notice of your trip, my office may be able to obtain congressional reserved tours for you. Some of the tours we can help with include:
