American Flag Requests

My office can request that a flag be flown over the United States Capitol for you. The Congressional Flag Office provides this service for $4.05 per flag, plus the cost of the flag. Flag costs are listed below on the Flag Request Form. Due to the large volume of requests I receive, I am only able to process requests from residents of South Carolina's 5th Congressional District.

A certificate of authenticity will be included with each flag. You may request that the flag be flown on a specific date and may also designate to whom the certificate should be addressed and the occasion, if any (example: birthday, anniversary, or retirement). Please submit your request at least 2 months in advance.

To request a flag, please fill out a Flag Request Form, print it, and mail it with your check to my Washington office. Please note that your order cannot be processed unless it is accompanied with your payment. Please also note that it will take your order about 2 weeks to reach us, because all incoming mail is first routed to a facility in Ohio for irradiation.
